Hestercombe House Wedding Photographer.
There are many amazing wedding venues allover the county of Somerset, and one of them I wanted to highlight is Hestercombe House and it located just outside of Taunton. Ever since I started out as a wedding photographer I have visited this location on several occasions and have always appreciated the grounds to be explored and the orangery where ceremonies are held. This led me to think instead of posting just one wedding on my website, how aboutI make a little gallery, or photo compilation. This might of interest to anyone wanting to hire this venue for their wedding day, and to see the photo opportunites available and with a local wedding photographer.
The Orangery At Hestercombe House.
When getting married at Hestercombe House it is The Orangery that many many wedding couples choose to hold the ceremony. It is popular for its spacious feel and it gives plenty of light. For photography this is perfect, the white walls reflect all the light that come through the large windows. This room once it has been emptied can be used for more photos such bride and groom alone and even group shots if the weather was to turn bad. Once stepping outside of this room you immediately have a garden to roam around for canopies, this is also a popular place for confetti throw. After spending an hour or so in this garden the wedding party is called up to the reception room.
Front of the house & gardens.
There are many other areas that can be explored and used for wedding photos in and around Hestercombe. The house itself has a nice open front area giving plenty of of room for vehicle access, and the lower gardens that can be explored via doorways and steps. Only a 60 second walk away from the Orangery the gardens are perfect for getting photos of couples alone while not taking up to much time from a wedding day. During the summer the flowers bloom all around giving colour and a feel of Somerset countryside and nature, the gardens also give a sense of privacy for couple who don’t want to be watched having their photo taken.
The Wedding Reception Room.
The wedding venue has reception room towards the front of the house, with a high ceiling and white walls there is ample light for photography. Wedding guests can drink and enjoy themselves on the lawn at the front while watching a sunset. This is where the wedding party will also eat as the kitchen is joint to the back of the building. Once all the speeches and everyone has eaten the party into the night can be held in here with a dance floor area for a DJ to be able to set up.
